Moving on....

Following a really enjoyable Christmas, residents have turned their minds to other occupations to avoid becoming depressed by the endless rain.
It is always comforting to eat something sweet with a cup of tea, so here is  a group preparing bakewell tart....
 .....and contemplating the results
For more temporal study we have been looking at Australian aboriginal art and working on this group picture which is about the journey between waterholes.
It has stimulated lots of discussion and those involved have enjoyed doing something a bit different.
As promised, we were visited by Elvis who is getting to know us quite well... though he still needs to master senior humour.

Hearts were fluttering by the time he left!

Meanwhile, outside, the mild weather has brought the snowdrops and the slugs out in the garden, but spring does not feel so far off now and we have started planning events for the next few weeks.
Another trip to the art gallery, a pub lunch, a visiting musician and who knows what else.
