November 2012
We are having a glorious autumn. The trees in the garden have been spectacular - there has been a lot of mist but not a lot of mellow fruitfulness this year.

On the inside residents have been busy making the most of opportunities to celebrate. Some have made biscuits for the coffee morning which everyone attends once a month, for a chat with friends, a change of scene or just for the special chocolate biscuits.

Two weeks ago we held an Italian evening, courtesy of Anna, the home's deputy manager. She cooked an Italian evening meal for our thirty residents and a number of Italian guests, who in their turn provided some wine and entertainment.

Residents sang, danced, ate and drank the evening away, finishing up with a quiz on all things Italian. A very good time was had by all
and we are most grateful to all who helped to make it  possible.
Coming up we are planning outings, visits by owls, theatre trips and doubtless more parties.
