cats and St. Pats

Recently Merlin went a-wandering and cost staff and residents a lot of worry. A good deal of shoe leather was wasted looking for him around the neighbourhood and we are most grateful to all the people in the village who responded to our posters  and kept an eye out for him.
He turned up four days later, appearing from our barn, which had been searched several times. He was very hungry but unharmed.

We held our spring tea party on St. Patricks day. Residents made decorations, with shamrock garlands and Irish music were contributed  by the family of our Irish resident.

The home has some excellent volunteers who helped produce the cakes and savouries.

Visitors were asked to join in a sponsored walk in April to raise money for the home.  Sharnbrook House is part of a 'not for profit'
organisation  and is able to provide the care needs of the residents, but fund raising can help us to provide the extras; things like a special computer or other items to benefit our residents.

Spring is coming and the garden is beginning to sprout. The picture below was actually taken last year but we are getting impatient!
